FOUNDERS

Serengeti Big Sky Limited was founded by Mohamed and Said brothers not by blood, but by journeys shared.  Over decades of guiding safaris across Tanzania, we walked the same paths, shared countless campfires, and earned a reputation among travelers for sharp eyes in the bush and a warm, welcoming presence.
In time, we dreamed of creating something of our own: a company that would reflect not only our experience, but also our values—respect for the land, a dedication to sustainable tourism, pride in the diverse cultures of our country, and above all, a deep commitment to crafting unique and unforgettable safari experiences for every guest.

Serengeti Big Sky is a family-owned safari company dedicated to journeys that go beyond the ordinary. Our Tanzanian team of guides and cultural experts share not only the beauty of the wildlife and the land they are free to roam, but also the traditions and stories that make our country unique. To make planning seamless from the very first step, we have welcomed a long-time friend, Angela Booth, as our U.S. based partner. After many years of traveling with Mohamed and Said in the bush, Angela now assists guests with international bookings and personalized planning. This means travelers enjoy the best of both worlds: deep local expertise in Tanzania and professional support as they prepare for their journey
